Our founder’s family faced the daily challenges of coordinating transportation for a loved one with limited mobility. Each trip brought uncertainty, frustration, and the nagging feeling that accessibility should never be an obstacle to care. It was through these experiences that the vision for Kurbsy emerged: a service built to honor the dignity and independence of individuals who deserve better options.

Headquartered at Pike and Rose in Montgomery County Maryland and licensed by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Commission (WMATC), we accept most forms of payment including Medicare and Medicaid customers. Our professional drivers or "Kurbsy Krew", are trained in Defensive Driving skills, First Aid, CPR, and Basic Life Support.
